About Islamic World

1.Introduction 

 Do you know about Islamic world very much?? Maybe you say "No". We unexpectedly don't know about  Islam and Muslims. So I write that on this blog and introduce you that.

 Islam have many similar points with Judaism and Christianity. But many Americans, Europeans, and Japanese think that Muslims are heterogeneous and fearful. So, we tend to misunderstand them when we watch and hear the terrorism news. We must change the situation like that. Changing the bad situation, we need to study and understand Islam and Muslims.

2.What is Islam?

 Islam is the religion that many people believe in all over the world. This is the second largest religion. The number of Muslims is about 1.6 billion in the world.

 There are 56 countries that almost population is muslim. For example, Indonesia, Bangladeshi, Pakistan, Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, and so on. India, China, Central Asia countries, Russia, Eeuropu, and 
America, these countries has also a lot of muslim people. In particular, we think that muslims are Arabs. But it is not true. In fact, Muslims who is an Arab are about only 20% of Muslims in the world. In short, the large muslim societies are Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladeshi, India. Not the Middle East Arabs.

 Islam is monotheism same as Judea and Christianity. Muslims believe the only god Allah. They also beleive the prophet. In addition, they believe not only Muhammad but also the Jewish prophet and Christian prophet.

 Muslims use the Arabic. They think that Jewish, Christian, and Islam, all the sacred book were written by god in Arabic. So,they think that the "Koran", which is Islamic sacred book, is the word of god. Therefore Muslims tend to study Arabic in spite of having other native langages. And if they do not understand Arabic, they tend to memolize and read the "Koran". Similarly, Muslims pray for god in Arabic  all over the world whether Arabic is not native language.

 Islam do not allows the Muslims to drink alchol and to eat pork. Islam low forbit the Muslim to sell and buy alcohol, but in the specific case, medical case is allowed to use that. The countries promulgating the Islam low is forbitting the alcohol. Almost cases, whether the person is muslim or not is not related. All the people are not allowed to drink. Such countries are Iran, Pakistan, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Malaysia.Ordinary Islamic organizations support not to drink alcohol. To eat pork is not also allowed by "Koran". A part of Muslims believe that eating pork is dirty and unhealthy. Because they know that the pigs have the germ and disease. They also think that only to touch physicaly the pigs and pork make the person who touch that or stuff(something to touch that) dirty so much. But this dirtiness is able to purify by removing or cleaning the cause.

 Islam has a lot of characteristic features. Today I write same specific points but there are so many lacks. I choose import and interesting points as introduction of Islam. I think that I should write more and more detailed infomation. Next post, I will write about Islam history, about Muhmmad.
